Adapt & Reuse
Project
This museum showcase invites you to explore the world of leather through multiple senses. A core installation is flanked by interactive displays that provide a comprehensive experience. The history of leather is presented on one side, highlighting its culturally significant past. The science underlying this adaptable substance is examined in the other.
However, the centre is where the real magic is. You may get your hands dirty in an intriguing leather exhibit. Feel the many textures—from rough to smooth—and take in the splendour of nature up close. With the help of this interactive exhibit, leather from history is transformed into a material just waiting for you to explore it creatively.
Project
Put away your dusty display! Create your own narrative at this hands-on display. Educational panels lead you through the strands of history, exhibiting a variety of weaving customs. Discover the world's fabrics, each whispering a bit of human ingenuity.
But the voyage itself is what makes it magical. Each portion is divided by vibrantly coloured and textured woven barriers. Touch silky silk, robust hemp, and elaborate designs on these very partitions with your fingertips. With this tactile experience, weaving becomes more than just an age-old craft—every strand has a tale to tell.
