Context
The Remnant is a shrine of stored wisdom and insight. A sacred space of abundant knowledge though made accessible, yet it is to be experienced by undertaking a journey through a series of spaced layered over one another akin to the layered narrative of Wes Anderson movies.
The abstract virtue of a mutoscope of letting the viewer witness the moving reel with imprinted data has inspired the future to find a way to store the consciousness of eminent people long gone, so that their invaluable wisdom can be received by engaging in a dialogue with them.
An archive of humanity experienced in a palpable way.
Spatial Concept
The space so designed will have an archive of humanity, a workshop area where the patrons can educate each other through sharing the knowledge received at the archive and a retail area where utmost peace of mind is offered in exchange of the users’ cerebral knowledge that is eventually fed to the archive to keep it up- to- date.
