2084 Narrative

In 2084, Earth faces the consequences of widespread neglect and exploitation. Human activities have depleted and despoiled once-thriving landscapes, prompting a mass migration to cities where resources are seemingly more accessible. The natural environment, now marred and diminished, no longer radiates its former beauty. Although the planet is undergoing a visible decline, the remains hope for redemption. Despite the current state of degradation, there is still an opportunity to reverse these trends and restore the Earth to its former vitality.

Spatial Concept

With this project, I want to create a calm and beautiful space by using circular formations that are influenced by the special meaning inherent in VHS technology. I see a place where people may honour the VHS tape and player, realising its importance as awareness-raising tools, like in Shell Oil’s Climate of Concern video.

Apart from creating an atmosphere of respect, the area will enable individuals to generate a form of their own personal energy, and solar, wind, and rain will act as accents for other powers generated throughout the site.

As a fundamental component of my counterculture, I want to incorporate vegetation into the architecture to contribute to its peaceful atmosphere.
