VHS Player & Tape

2084 Narrative

The VHS tape, a relic from a forgotten era, unveiled a treasure trove of authentic human experiences that stood in stark contrast to the artificiality of the AI-dominated society. As the Analog Rebels gathered around a flickering screen to witness the contents of the tape, they were transported to a world that seemed almost mythical. The tape contained fragments of a once vibrant and diverse society, a glimpse into the lives of people who existed in a world untainted by the ever-watchful eyes of AI. Scenes unfolded with an almost poetic grace, capturing the essence of genuine human connection.

Spatial Concept

The spatial concept of my project revolves around the discovery of the VHS tape as a symbol of freedom and hope. The design intent is to immerse visitors in an experiential journey that reflects the themes of liberation and creativity embodied by the tape. The cinema room serves as the starting point, where visitors watch the tape, experiencing its message of authenticity and human connection. Moving to the meditation pods, visitors reflect on what they've seen, finding solace and inspiration in a serene environment conducive to contemplation and contribution to the rebellion. The tomb, where the relic is stored, offers a moment of reverence and connection to the tape's significance.
