Project

The Louvre Abu Dhabi, a creation of Jean Nouvel, is set to embrace sustainability with its proposed extension. This innovative addition, a sunset pavilion located 100 meters from the main gallery and submerged in the sea, is designed using advanced parametric tools. The pavilion’s roof is a testament to sustainable design, as it is covered with louvres featuring integrated solar sheets. This generates green energy and creates a captivating effect as the movement of the louvres mimics the sea’s waves, guided by sound sensors within the structure.

Research

To establish a framework for visualising intangible heritage asset data derived from digital twin technology, enhancing the understanding and preservation of heritage assets.
