Project

The Valley by MVRDV, an architectural landmark in Amsterdam, boasts a unique design with public access restricted to the first four floors. To enhance visitor experience and generate revenue, this proposal suggests opening a dedicated viewing deck on the north tower’s terrace. Leveraging existing infrastructure and implementing a ticketing system, it transforms the space into a coveted destination, symbolizing elevated perspectives and harmonious architectural
planning

Research

The construction industry, a cornerstone of the global economy, faces significant challenges due to its complexity, stakeholder multiplicity, and slow technological adoption. These issues lead to inefficiencies, safety concerns, and hindered progress. This research explores the potential of integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Digital Twin (DT) technologies to enhance risk management (RM) practices in construction projects. By leveraging DT’s real-time data capabilities and BIM’s comprehensive modeling, the study aims to develop a framework that improves risk identification, communication, and mitigation across the construction lifecycle.

A qualitative analysis is conducted through a detailed literature review, focusing on the current applications, strengths, and limitation
