Project
The UAE Pavilion, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, captures the falcon’s speed with its dynamic wing-like design. To enhance this, movable wings were added, which transformed the pavilion into an amazing light show and motion that dynamic representation of the bird’s natural agility. By adding this, the pavilion becomes an amazing display of technological and creativity.
Research
The construction industry significantly impacts the environment, accounting for 52% of the UK's CO2 emissions. To achieve zero-carbon goals, the industry must adopt sustainable practices, starting with education.
This project is focuses on reducing waste in physical model in architecture through digital and physical method. Through the analysis of existing waste management systems and the introduction of sustainable practices in educational institutions, the objective is to create a framework for identifying and managing waste materials prior to the production of actual prototypes. This methodology is anticipated to cultivate inventive, environmentally conscious solutions within the field of architecture.
