The striking Valley, inspired by geological formations and covered in greenery, stands out in Amsterdam's Zuidas neighborhood with its three towers reaching heights of 67, 81, and 100 meters, featuring spectacular cantilevered apartments. Despite its impressive design, there has been a noted absence of designated recreational areas for residents. To remedy this, it has been proposed to renovate the 16th floor of each tower and construct a bridge to connect these spaces. The project focuses mainly on the envelope of the connecting bridge, utilizing parametric tools for design development and visualization software to further enhance its appearance. Incorporating recreational areas in the built environment offers numerous benefits, including improved mental and physical health for resident

Optimizing Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) for Building Construction: Comparative Methods and Implementation Framework
The ongoing dialogue about sustainable building practices underscores the critical need to integrate life cycle assessment (LCA) techniques early in the design process. This dissertation aims to develop a methodological framework that facilitates the seamless incorporation of LCA into the initial stages of building design, thereby enhancing the industry's capacity for sustainable decision-making. This study systematically evaluates these gaps by assessing tools based on workflow, design applicability, input requirements, complexity, and limitations. Employing a mixed-methods approach, it combines an extensive literature review with comparative analyses of selected LCA methods.
