Forest Mill Leisure Centre
Forest Mill Leisure Centre aims to be a high-quality, energy-efficient hub for the community that is geared towards revitalising the surrounding area by giving it a new hub for activity, physical fitness and health. Bringing the community together through the variety of facilities such as the pool, sports hall and gym that are aimed for all ages and abilities. The use of a glulam and CLT structure was implemented to reduce embodied carbon.
Investigating the optimal solution that effectively and affordably mitigates embodied carbon in early design stages.
