This project is reflection on the need of mental health support within London and other large cities, but more specifically the mental strain that is caused by the fast pace, yet repetitive, corporate life. The project will be an act of removing the stigma behind reaching out for help or support and allowing for bettering of people knowledge on how to create a healthier lifestyle for oneself. All whilst providing jobs to those who specialise in various therapies.
For my research project I chose to investigate the path of Mindful Urban Renewal and more specifically, strategies for mitigating embodied carbon in major cities using carbon efficient materials. Through which, I explored the effects of the various structural materials as well as hybrid structures, to find which holds the least embodied carbon, allowing us to move towards a sustainable society.
