Project

Our school boasts a vibrant mixed-use facility, featuring specialised learning rooms, a library, classrooms, studios, and an auditorium for performances and showcases. The three-storey building offers breath-taking views of the River Irwell and Manchester’s iconic ship canal station. The school utilises an innovative blend of materials to enhance acoustical absorption throughout the building. The spacious auditorium serves as the centrepiece, accessible from both the ground and first floor with a community focus

Project

The school features a hybrid structure of concrete and steel, ensuring optimal thermal mass, strength, and acoustical performance. The intermediate floors are multifunctional, housing art classrooms, dance studios, a library with stunning views of the River Irwell, music studios, open social study spaces, and an auditorium. Integrated into the Salford Quays community, the school serves as a hub, benefiting from the vibrant regeneration of MediaCity and its surroundings.
