The proposed building is a Leisure Centre based in Wellingborough and its purpose is to serve the needs of the local community, the Leisure centre will be split into 4 zones, each zone having their own unique functionality . With its inclusive access it hosts a sports arena, netball court, badminton court, gym, boxing gym and many more. This building complies with North Northampton City Council regulations as well as British Standards, it aligns with Northampton’s future building plans to maximise reduction in carbon emissions from buildings. Integrating sustainability strategies involves leveraging innovative materials like steel frames and green roofs.
