Reach
Atelier 02: Learning Neighbourhoods
Project
This project aims to redefine what higher education in Nottingham could be; integrating academic growth with social responsibility, focusing on both the local homeless community & university students. Reach uses a holistic architectural framework to support physical, mental, and social rehabilitation, creating a cyclical recovery program that extends from housing and health to creativity and collaboration.
In partnership with local universities and the NHS, it offers a specialized outreach program for University graduates, facilitating seamless societal and professional integration for ‘students’. This initiative not only aims to transforms the individual lives but reintegrate a growing community, positioning higher education as a catalyst for profound social change
