Project
The School of Technology, AI and Innovation is a center for students to research and develop the latest innovations in new technology, with the aim to become a world-leading center in this field, being run from the heart of Nottingham City Centre. The school will also run ever-changing exhibitions using new technology such as projections, holograms, and virtual reality to create interesting immersive experiences that will be enjoyable and will subconsciously teach kids, teenagers, adults, and elderly people alike about technology, AI, and new innovations to benefit them and the community of Nottingham.
The school was designed by recycling The existing abandoned building on the site by reusing the concrete structural frame, combined with new ultra low embodied glulam timber structure for new buildings. The building is designed as a PassivHuas to make it a sustainable, super energy efficient building that will generate more renewable energy than is used in the building. The interior of the building features some of the newest groundbreaking innovations and technology in the architectural world currently, such as remote-controlled movable walls and many more.
